Im in St Kilda in the southern suberbs of Melbourne. I had one night booked in a place in South Yarra that was really nice. I felt scruffy (well I would've if I cared). There were loads of beautiful people and chic clubs and restaurants everywhere. This place is really different from Sydney!
I met up with Joe and Tony (Tom is in Tasmania for a few days.) and Ive just moved my stuff into their hostel called 'The Ritz Backpackers.' I'm staying in a dorm with Joe and 4 other blokes. Tony managed to move himself into a room with 3 girls the cad...
Im sticking around here for a week then we're getting an Oz Experience bus up to Adelaide (3 days with stopovers) Ill upload some pics of this place soon.
Expect my uploads to become less frequent than they were in Tokyo and Singapore. I have much drinking to do now...
Oh and sorry to anyone I haven't emailed back yet. I will get round to it soon, doing this takes ages so I haven't been replying as quickly as I could. I think I need a secretary. Anyone fancy it? I hear there may be lots of people from Merlin looking for jobs quite soon? Ha ha. (Good Luck to you Pete, You deserve it!)

THE RITZ is just opposite a huge park where the Melbourne Grand Prix is going to be held in a few weeks. We've been talking about sticking around for it but it would mean another few weeks in Melbourne which we dont want.
Anyway, they're putting all the stands/tents etc up already. The park itself is still open and (if you dont mind crossing a few cordons) you can walk right down the start of the track.

Apart from that Joe and I went down to the park next to the the beach today with Carrie and Julie, a couple of babes from the hostel.
We've just been sunning ourselves and then all went out and had Iced Chocolate. Which was basically a chocolate drink with ice cream and chocolate sauce. (you appreciate the little things when you're travelling?)
A bunch of us single people are all going out tonight as its Valentines Day. I'll let you know what happens.
