Well, I caught the flight. (I like Singpore Airlines - they have a SNES with Street Fighter 2 in every seat!!)
Its really different from Tokyo here. For one its really hot and about 98% humidity, (it almost feels more comfortable to swim than walk.) Then 2, theres at least 50ft between blocks of flats giving the place a nice airy feel Tokyo didn't quite manage.
Im meeting up with Luke and Kate tomorrow which is good, It turns out my visit coincides with the beginning of the Chinese New Year?? I love it when a plan comes together!!
I'm staying in the Metropolitan YMCA i've never actually stayed in one before but they're really friendly places. Theres loads of people staying here, so far i've met a policeman, a fireman a construction worker and an Indian Chief just said he's got something in his room he wants to show me?!? Sounds fun....
